You will begin your city tour of Addis with a drive up to mount Entoto. Descending down to Addis, proceed to the Ethnographic Museum within the compound of Addis Ababa University was the palace of Emperor Haile Selassie between 1930-1935 and 1941-1955 and now serves as a research Centre for the Institute of Ethiopia Studies and for the Ethnographical Museum. We find a complete collection of traditional musical instruments, Ethiopian Orthodox church crosses, stamps, traditional clothes of different tribes from throughout the country, is an ideal place to start learning about Ethiopia’s rich ethnic diversity. And visit the bedroom of the late Emperor Haile- Selassie. The National Museum also called the Archeological Museum that houses interesting archeological featuring which includes "Lucy," the 3.2-million-year-old hominid skeleton considered the missing link in the evolutionary study of mankind.
